Bullet Proof Vests for Babies?
Listen
This is the Wilmington Standard Daily Update for Thursday January 15th, 2026.
The Supreme Court is hearing arguments this week about whether or not women’s sports should be invaded by boys who cannot compete against other men – but do ok against girls. It truly is a sign of our culture’s moral decay that this is a question that has to be decided by the nation’s highest court.
Among the notable figures outside the court building was Riley Gaines – who gained national recognition because of her unrelenting fight against women having to put up with men in girls locker rooms – and having to compete against them.
Along with Riley Gaines was her 3 month old daughter – in a bullet-proof vest.
Why would a 3-month old baby girl have to be swaddled in a bullet proof vest? Does her mom think she will be shot because she is resisting the lawful orders of a police officer? Will her child be taken down because she is breaking and entering? Perhaps her baby is enrolling in law-enforcement herself in the infant division and needs the extra protection as she faces down crime.
No the reality is that Riley Gaines has to protect her child because in today’s culture violence has become the preferred tool of the incompetent and radicalized left. They have no problem with killing free speech activists like Charlie Kirk, vandalizing and burning churches and pro-life centers, assaulting police officers, and attempting to assassinate a candidate for President. This is the radical left – egged on by Democrat politicians and the sympathetic media – who will stop at nothing in order to maintain or push a twisted and frankly evil worldview on the rest of us. They think nothing of killing a baby in a mother’s womb – and will stop at nothing – including killing a baby in her mother’s arms – to advance their agenda through intimidation and bloodshed.
As the Supreme Court decides the frankly ridiculous question as to whether there are two biological sexes and should each be treated differently – the answer is yes to both in case you were wondering – we on the outside of the court have to face an even larger question – how long will we put up with a violent and radicalized left?
Riley Gaines needs to know if she need to upsize her child’s bullet proof vest.
